Inglenook

The Inglenook legacy began in 1879 when Gustave Niebaum came to Rutherford to build a wine estate that would rival Europe’s finest. Inglenook had earned international acclaim by the 1940s which was made legendary by the famed 1941 vintage. The Coppolas purchased the back portion of the property in 1975, spent forty years reuniting the original vineyards and restoring Inglenook’s illustrious heritage with the help of Stephane Derenoncourt and Head Winemaker Philippe Bascaules.
