This wine is dark in color, with an enticing violet aroma, possibly from the 15% Petit Verdot in the mix. Spicy clove, black pepper and woody cedar form a full-bodied construct upon which a depth of tannin presides—a powerful statement that mellows in the glass. Additional notes of dried herb, cassis and currant unfold with time.
